A yesterday. I'm looking for information on the Freud 16-109 Mortising Router Bit 15/32" Diameter 1/2" Shank With TiCo, so i would like to bring a story to tell.
This bit 3/4 "hinge mortises cut Birch face frame cleanly with ripping without wheat. the upper bearing is 1/8 "in diameter larger than the cutter, so remember to do your jig 1/16" larger on all sides. the bit hardly worked and very quiet, probably due to its special design and showed no signs of damage after 12 hinge mortises were cut. the bearing is better built than most small router bit bearings I used from other than Freud. highly recommended.
