being new to make mortise and tenon joinery, I gave it a shot using this bit. turned out perfect. I made a template in 1/4 "plywood, which was precisely oversized to allow the distance from the outside of the collar to the edge of the bit. using a plunge router Freud and 1/4 "diameter 1/4 mount little spiral flute", I plunged and routed out mortise in deeper then dips. in 3 steps, I had done a perfect 1 1/2 "thread. even the
